Living Debt-Free is Biblical [Video]

CNN posted a great video of a Maryland woman who is living debt-free just a few years after owing $30,000 across 100 credit cards! While the $30k doesn’t surprise me, the 100 cards do. Wow.

But the one line that I loved was:

Stop trying to keep up with the Joneses, cause they’re broke

Mike founded CleverDude.com in June 2006 while working as a technical analyst in the Washington, D.C. area. A Penn State graduate, he built the site as a side project alongside a white-collar career that included earning a master’s degree and multiple promotions.

    $30K in 15 months! Congratulations to this Mrs Clement! My husband and I have managed to pay down $10K of debt in 11 months. While I feel proud of our accomplishment she puts us to shame!

    I caught this story yesterday at the gym while I was running on the treadmill. When they said 30k in debt I said ok, not great but there are worse offenders. Once they flashed over the screen that she had over 100 credit cards I damn near broke my leg and fell off the treadmill….
