Keeping a birthday secret

I’m not good at keeping secrets. I’m not the worst at it, but since I share everything with my wife Stacie, it’s hard to keep this a secret. I set up something special for her 30th birthday, which is tomorrow, and she doesn’t know what it is, or who it involves.

I’m not going to give anything away here since Stacie subscribes to my email updates and would read it before tomorrow. She’s tried to guess whether it was a massage, a special lunch, or maybe something else. Last night she said “You know honey, we don’t need to spend money for lunch Friday because we have stuff to eat here”. How cute.

The question she may not have asked is whether I’ll even be involved in this special “event”. Maybe I’ll stay at home and take a nap. Or go swimming. Or finish cleaning the house.

Stay tuned to find out what I got for her birthday. I’ll post it tomorrow sometime. This is also a warning that I probably won’t be posting much, if anything, over the weekend as we’re having about 15 guests on Saturday for a much needed pool party and BBQ. We’ve been cleaning up the house to prepare for all these people, and we still have a bit to do.

I posted almost the same type of article 2 days ago! (I actually posted it on her birthday instead of beforehand and she was also turning 30).

Happy Birthday to your wife 🙂
