I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Nickel in person at the DC Personal Finance Writers meetup, and converse with him via IM and the MoneyBlogNetwork.com Forums. He’s helped me quite a number of times with my own site design and topics, and he’s always been professional.

You may notice that FiveCentNickel has been on my link list (right sidebar) since the inception of CleverDude.com, and there’s a reason for that. FiveCentNickel provides excellent financial resources and information with a personal perspective. Nickel isn’t a dry writer, and has an excellent ability to “dumb down” difficult topics for the common man (me) or woman. He also runs a number of other sites such as Raising4Boys.com, where he highlights the trials, tribulations and joys of being a father (and a parent in general).

I guess you could say this is Nickel’s Share the Love review, since I never gave one to the original links on my list. Thanks for all the help Nickel!
