Like I said, I'm sure it could have been done better, but all I did was pull of old duct tape, put on some flex-tubing and duct-tape the heck out of it. And putting in insulation is one of the easiest things. You cut it and stuff it in the space (wearing rubber-lined gloves). Go ahead, try it out! DL: Actually, this was a pretty easy job. We are soooo un-handy it's sad. The most we can do is change our air filters. It's that bad. I can only look upon your photos with envy, wishing we had more talent. We had a water line to our refrigerator leak over the summer, so I had to crawl under the house to remove a few rows of soaking wet insulation. Needless to say, I put off installing new insulation in it's place for as long as possible. Well, with the cold weather finally here (and constant reminders from my Dear Wife) I got up the energy to do it. Crawling under our house is awful!
