Instead escrow yourself by putting 1/12th money for these payments aside in a savings account each month and earn interest on the money. Insurance and Property tax for my house totals about $2500 per year, at 4% interest, this gives me 100 bucks. I think if people just dressed for the season, they could save a lot of money on their bills.
