I’m resisting the temptation to look at our investments right now. The market has been bouncing 500-700 points up and daily. Unfortunately, it’s the same 500 points down on day and 500 points the next. I’m going to try to keep it at my current once a month review.

I’m surprised EBAY hasn’t performed better. Good balance sheet. Barriers to entry. I’m thinking about going long the stock and then selling out of the money calls against it.

i don’t believe in stocks….but i can explain ebay.

they recently went to a “pay pal only” way of paying. you can’t send a money order or a check anymore, its pay pal only

so not only do you get hit with a listing charge, but you also get a “pay pal” convienance charge hit if you are a seller.

there is a backlash going against it.

you couldn’t help it, you’re one curious cat. i check mine every morning (i like pain), and i hyped myself into thinking my 401k was cut in half…but luckily i only lost 10%! haha…. so hooray.
