Naturally, I would have been much more scathing, too, and started with, "If you jammed your finger in about half-an-inch farther, I'm sure you could finally get at that itch on the front of your cerebral cortex." And when they stared at me in awe, shock, or utter embarrassment from getting caught, I'd say, "That means stop picking your nose and flinging it at everyone else.
