Hello from rainy Orlando, FL!
If you’re wondering where I’ve been, I’ve been lounging by the pool known as Orlando all week. We flew in last Saturday and had good weather until late Sunday when the torrential rains began and never ceased. As I look out my hotel window on our last day here (Thursday), some sun is showing and the street looks semi-dry. But the storm has fooled me before.
I’m down here for a work conference, and I brought the wife along. We did get to see family, specifically a sick uncle at the hospital who just got a defibrillator installed Monday. I’ll follow up with some articles about renting cars and saving on travel (but not how you think) sometime next week. It’ll just be good to get back home to Maryland where it’s 82 and sunny today!
Oh, but we’ll only be in MD for a day because we’re travelling one more time on Sat-Sun, but I’ll tell you more about that later too!

I feel your pain! A little south of you, the rainy season just decided to start on Sunday, and the sun is gone most of the day down here. Unfortunately, that’s the second year in a row where the rainy season has had a rough start.
