Get 5,000 bonus points from American Express Preferred Rewards Green Card

Posted by Clever Dude | December 22, 2007 .

american express preferred rewards green cardI just posted about how you can get 10,000 bonus points from the AmEx Preferred Rewards Gold Card, but if you wanted a different card, already have the Gold Card, or just don’t like the color gold, here’s another offer from American Express:

Get 5,000 bonus points with the American Express Preferred Rewards Green Card (apply here) after your first purchase AND they’ve waived the first year’s annual fee too!

The main difference between the Gold and Green card is the Green card doesn’t have any of the gold benefits, but it still has the rewards program and the purchase protection plan. Oh, and it’s 5,000 bonus points rather than 10,000 :)

Here’s the blurb from AmEx:

You can earn 5,000 Membership Rewards® bonus points after your first purchase with the card –redeemable for a $50 gift card. Fast and flexible travel rewards. You can earn points quickly and choose rewards from 21 airlines. The Membership Rewards® program also lets you transfer points to 11 frequent flyer programs: 1 point = 1 frequent flyer mile or frequent guest credit for most programs. Apply for your American Express® Preferred Rewards Green Card today and take advantage of no pre-set spending limit. Experience the exceptional level of service that comes with Cardmembership including the Purchase Protection Plan that protects eligible purchases made with the Card against accidental damage and theft for up to 90 days from the date of purchase.

If you’re interested, and can manage your spending, then apply for the American Express Preferred Rewards Green Card right here! If you can’t control your spending, or can’t pay off your monthly credit card bills, then don’t apply.
