Filed Maryland Taxes Online
I mentioned in my 2007 tax review post that I couldn’t e-File my Maryland taxes through TurboTax for some reason. I assumed I would have to mail in the paper form and wait forever for the $1400 refund.
But thanks to Single Ma for suggesting that I file for free through the Maryland iFile site.
Luckily I already had the Maryland forms printed out so I could transfer most information directly from paper to screen. I got the rest of the info from my W-2′s, 1099G and Schedule A from the federal return. Overall, I spent 30 minutes and I expect to have sped up the process by at least 4-6 weeks. I also gave my bank info to get the refund even faster. I think I got it within 2 weeks last year.
Thanks Single Ma!
