I then took them to a local place to have them installed for 25 per tire (this included mounting, balance, disposal of old tires and lifetime rotations). Even adding in the extra 100 bucks to install the tires, I still saved almost 200 dollars for the same tires the local store was going to put on. I think it cost about 10 per tire to ship, but I didn't pay any state sales tax, so that alleviated that charge. I purchased 4 tires for my SUV from TireRack.
