Very good info. I got a few ideas from reading the list.

I failed the first time because I was trying to post 3-4 times a week, but with a 8-5 job and 2 other websites, that just wasn’t going to happen.

I’m planning on 1 per week and if I get 2 that will just be a bonus for the readers.

Wow! What a great list for us beginners. I admit I was wasting a ton of time looking for the perfect there…then I just decided to pick one that looks decent for now and I’ll focus on content while I search for one I like better.

@Sandra, I used Gimp, which is an open source (free) competitor to Adobe Photoshop. The email image doesn’t protect you from all spam bots, but it does protect you one level more than plain text.

Extreme good points. Most of them are well known in the blogging world but a proper grouping is rarely received. Here I found that and I got a chance to review my site The Money Maniac against the points you mentioned. It helping me to identify the present mistakes and avoid that asap.
