I’ve done both the totally shaved look and buzzing with a #1 guard, and I definitely prefer the latter. Shaving your head takes too much maintenance.

And the main part of pulling the whole thing off is doing it with confidence. If you like it, then don’t worry what other people think.

My husband was already going bald when I met him (we were both 19). Twenty years later he still looks fantastic. I just keep his hair nice and short all over. Wispy comb-over strings would make him look like he was trying to hide the hair loss and would actually draw attention to it rather than camouflage the situation. I think he looks terrific and I’m very proud of him!

I have 7 older brothers who have given no hope with this whole balding thing. So I’ve honestly given up on it.

What I did do, however, is (while I still could) gave it a couple test runs. Just shaved it a few times to see what kind of reaction I get.

Of course the first day people laugh a lot, but after that they kind of get used to it.

So I guess I can do this whole bald thing after all.

Cut it all off! Shave it all off! Then grow a bit of a goatee or small bit of facial hair. Maybe one can look as cool as the “Live” band lead singer or Chris Daughtry (ex American Idol alumnus) or even my co-worker. He looks hot!

Yes, just buzz the hair short rather than shaving your head– otherwise you’ll have to start spending money on BaldGuyz Head Wipes, etc. No surprise that someone came up with a whole line of products to make bald men keep spending money on grooming!
