Clever use for all those spare quarters!

Evil Mad Scientist posted a great use for all those spare quarters you have lying around. Turns out you can turn a C battery into a D battery with a few quarters. Obviously you could just buy the D batteries with those quarters, but what about those times, say during a blackout, where your flashlight’s D batteries are dead and all you have are C’s?
Use quarters! (whilst you bang you shins on your furniture looking for the flashlight, the C batteries and quarters in the dark. You should check your emergency kit every 3 months you fool!)
Anyway, carry on.
